Let's Get Started!
So, what can you expect when you come into the Treehouse?
First, a warm welcome! This is a place where everyone knows your name and is glad you're here. You'll enter into our waiting room where your children can play in our treehouse while you check in at the front desk and complete any necessary forms.
Next, you'll be brought back into a room by a nurse or MA to begin your visit, traveling through our fully decorated halls, simulating a New England town. Your child's vitals will be checked and any necessary tests or labs will be started. Then you'll be escorted to a room to await your provider.
All of our patient rooms have a large chalkboard wall to entertain you and your child while you wait (hopefully, not too long!) Each room offers a different experience, including Africa, the ocean, maps and travel, the farm, and wheels, gears and motors.
Once Dr. Ramos has concluded her visit with you, you and your child will be directed back to the front desk to check out and make any future appointments. Any prescriptions will be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice. Forms and other paperwork will be given to you when you leave or faxed to the location of your choice.
See you next time!
What can you expect after hours?
We try to offer as many hours as possible to accommodate busy schedules, but we know there will be times when you need us outside of those hours. No problem! Simply call our office and follow the prompts on the phone to leave a message for the on-call provider. You should receive a call back within 30-60 minutes for all urgent matters. Non-urgent matters that can wait until the office re-opens will be held over until then. Of course, for any true emergency, you should go directly to the nearest hospital emergency room.
